Technology Innovation

The innovation I chose, is a handheld device that tells you whether fruit is ripe or not. Scientists at MIT have developed a handheld device that can evaluate how ripe an apple is by measuring the glow of chlorophyll in the fruit's skin under ultraviolet light. This will impact people whom grow apples, and want to pick them to send them out, with this device they will know whether the fruit is ripe or not. This will solve problems from when you're also at the grocery store and want to know what apples to pick out. I think this innovation is helpful, because many people do not know how to pick out fruit.
